Soil sampling equipment for obtaining soil samples at or near the surface in environmental sampling and monitoring and geotechnical testing applications.

Our samplers range in length from 18″ to 24″, the “Lynac” sampler head has coarse threads which make assembly/disassembly much faster and all shoes for samplers are heat treated to withstand continued heavy use.

A ball check feature prevents a washout of material when retrieving a finished sampler. Split spoon samplers are used in geotechnical analysis which don’t require undisturbed samples, and chemical analysis. Liners are used with split spoon samplers which allow for collection of samples suitable for chemical analysis of many types of contaminants. Split spoon samplers consist of a barrel attached to a drive tip; obtain samples by attaching the split spoon to the end of a drill string, lowering it to the bottom of a borehole, and then driving it into the soil with a geotechnical hammer.
